Sports Fan Golf Tour

The Sports Fan Golf Tour is based in Atlanta, Georgia and provides golfers of all skills levels with access to some of the best courses at preferred rates. Our Tour sponsors provide our golfers with the added benefit of great flight and skill prizes that rival other similar but more expensive tours. Each tournament is open to the public and we invite you to join us this 2010 season.

All Handicaps reflect USGA Index and all tournaments are played under the USGA Rules of Golf.

FORMAT
(STABLEFORD)

Each tournament is scored on a Stableford scoring system, whereby points are awarded in relationship to a fixed score on each hole. Par is used as the fixed score and points are awarded as follows:

Par
Birdie
Eagle
Double Eagle

(QUOTA)

Each player in each flight will have an assigned "quota” based on their course handicap. The winner of each flight will be the player with the best score in relation to their quota. Your quota is equal to 36 points minus your specific course handicap. If your quota is determined to be 20 and you score 22 points for your round, then you scored 2 points over your quota for a recorded score of +2. Tournament officials will take care of all scoring, so all you need to worry about is playing your best.
